Store description excerpt

Understanding the emotions of others and their own is crucial for social adaptation for every child! Not all children (or adults, for that matter) can understand what someone's face and posture convey or how to act in a given situation! Children often struggle to verbally describe their own feelings, yet this is the foundation for harmonious personal development. After all, understanding one's state helps a person maintain composure and make rational decisions. Let's talk frankly with children about emotions! Let's make it a norm in every family for everyone—both adults and children—to talk about their feelings. This app was created precisely for this purpose. Start talking about feelings with your child! Discuss the photos and the questions that accompany them. The app shows the spectrum of emotions people experience. There are positive and negative emotions, and it's normal for a person to feel both. The "Emotions for Children" app features 100 photos of people expressing various emotions. Each photo comes with three questions (verbal or written) that test their understanding of the emotion. The app has settings that allow you to play it automatically, or choose a response using text or animation. We recommend using the app with an adult.
