IMPORTANT. Use of this application requires access codes, which will be provided by participating hospitals. The Emma Salud App aims to provide verified information and support to cancer patients. Emma Salud allows users to enjoy a complete activity calendar and their self-care plan, updated at all times, on their mobile phones. It also facilitates communication between patients and healthcare professionals through a secure and private environment. The main features offered by Emma Salud are: CALENDAR: In daily and monthly formats, it reminds you of scheduled tasks and allows you to view and record your activity (medication intake, check-ups, appointments, etc.). TREATMENT: Emma Salud has a powerful tool to help manage your medication, allowing you to plan and validate medication intake at any time. You can also add other medications and treatments from the application. It contains information, photos, package inserts, and recommendations about medication treatment, as well as precautions to take and information about possible interactions. SELF-MONITORING. This module allows the patient to regularly monitor key variables such as nutrition, diet, weight, exercise, etc. It also includes records of questionnaires administered remotely by the medical team. The patient can record symptoms or adverse events, and the application will guide and inform them about the most appropriate recommendations or actions. Emma Salud can be integrated with telemetry devices via Bluetooth for the automatic recording of variables such as weight or exercise. COMMUNICATIONS. The patient and the healthcare professional have access to a powerful internal messaging module to improve two-way communication for remote monitoring and follow-up. All personal information entered into the application is recorded in a space called the "personal folder," hosted on highly secure servers as required by the Data Processing Law. This information will only be accessible via mobile and web by both the user (patient) and their authorized healthcare professional or physician. This folder allows professionals to assess the patient's progress over time and to remotely monitor and follow up with users.
