Store description excerpt

Tap an arrow. It slides straight off the board the way it faces — if its lane is clear. Then the lane it escaped down catches fire. Fire runs ALONG a lane, so the next arrow can follow it out, but nothing can cross it until it cools. Suddenly the order you take them in is the entire game. THE SHAPE OF A BOARD Every board has a par — the fewest moves it can possibly be done in — and a budget of a few moves more. Waiting for a fire to die costs a move, exactly like moving does. Spend the budget with arrows still on the board and you burn out. It is the only way to lose, and it is always something you did: the board is still winnable, you just spent too much getting there. THREE KINDS OF ARROW Most leave an ordinary fire. Embers burn twice as long — taking one early can seal off half the board. Ash leaves nothing behind at all, and knowing which lane to save it for is most of what separates a par from a scrape. 150 BOARDS, NONE OF THEM AUTHORED Six seams, twenty-five boards each, and not one of them designed by hand. Every board is generated, then SOLVED — and thrown away unless it punishes autopilot. Around two hundred are discarded for every hard one that ships. If a solver cannot prove a board's par, that board does not ship at all. ONE BOARD A DAY The same board for everyone, every day, scored on moves against that proved par. Share the scar map when you are done — it shows the route you took, not the answer. The streak survives a loss, because a streak one hard board can break is a streak nobody keeps. QUIET BY DESIGN No timer. No lives. No energy meter. Nothing to refill. Full-screen ads only ever appear after a board you CLEARED — never after a loss, never after the daily, never mid-board. It plays perfectly with no signal at all.
