"Reich-Ranicki for wineries and wines" was the verdict of the Hessischer Rundfunk about the author. The new inventory of German wine is now available, with full color illustrations: "Eichelmann 2021 Germany's Wines" offers an introduction to the German wine-growing regions, portraits of the best producers - including 69 new producers and 235 organic wineries - and the evaluation and description of their wines. Eichelmann 2021 presents 965 wineries and 11,000 wines that have been selected by the tried and tested team of tasters. The wines are rated in the internationally customary 100-point system that Gerhard Eichelmann introduced in Germany, with price and alcohol information, and wines with a particularly good price-performance ratio are highlighted. Each winery is rated 1 to 5 stars for its overall performance. It is important for the consumer that not only top-quality products are presented and used for business evaluation, but all wines, including entry-level qualities. Price information, registers with bargain lists and lists of the best, an overview of the best organic winegrowers and an index of places round off this unique app (the book edition, bound, costs 25 euros).
