Store description excerpt
EEG is a training app for electrical engineers early in their career, and for students and technicians who want to understand how a building actually gets its power. It works entirely offline. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing is sent anywhere. LEARN Twelve short units, unlocked in order, take you from the power station to the socket: the grid chain and its voltages, the board hierarchy, protection devices, earthing, cables, lighting and sockets, and what a shock current does to a body. Each unit ends in questions, and three find-the-fault drills put a load schedule in front of you and ask you to spot the mistake. DAILY PRACTICE Ten questions a day, drawn from everything in the app. The same set all day, a new one tomorrow. CALCULATORS Seventeen everyday tools: current from power, phase balance, breaker sizing, cable ampacity, voltage drop, transformer sizing, earth conductor size, earth-leakage rating, motor starting current, AC and water-heater loads, generator sizing, and a unit converter. Every one shows its formula and its assumptions. REFERENCE A 49-term glossary in both languages, 25 drawn symbols, protection-device and cable tables, a lighting and socket guide, a labelled cutaway of a distribution board, how to read a load schedule, and a site checklist you can tick off. POWER FLOW The single line from generation to your premises, drawn as a diagram you can tap stage by stage to see the voltage there and what changes it. BUILT FOR THE GULF Values are typical Gulf / IEC practice — 415 V three-phase, 240 V single-phase, 50 Hz — kept in one profile rather than scattered through the screens. ARABIC AND ENGLISH Both languages are first-class, with the whole layout mirroring for Arabic. Light and dark themes throughout, including the diagrams. Educational use only. This app is not a substitute for a licensed engineer or for local regulations, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any authority. Always verify against the rules that apply where you work.
