Finding an open pharmacy at midnight is hard in a country you don't know well. Eczanow was built for exactly that moment. Open the app and you see the pharmacies serving your area right now. In Türkiye it lists the open pharmacies during the day and, after 7 PM, on Sundays and on public holidays, the on-duty pharmacies that stay open by law. In Germany it shows which pharmacies are open right now, based on their opening hours. The current mode is written at the top of the screen, along with when it changes. WHAT IT DOES • Puts the closest pharmacy first, with distance and an estimated drive time • Shows every nearby pharmacy as a pin on the map, grouped where they are dense • Calls with one tap — in smaller towns the on-duty pharmacist may serve on call, so phoning ahead matters as much as directions • Hands navigation to the map app you already use (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Yandex) • Search by name, district or address — typing without special characters works ("kadikoy" finds Kadıköy) • Shows landmark directions when an address is not enough: "across from the emergency entrance of the state hospital" • Home screen widget: the nearest on-duty pharmacy without opening the app • Evening reminders before Sundays and public holidays, when only on-duty pharmacies are open TÜRKİYE, NORTHERN CYPRUS AND GERMANY For all 81 provinces of Türkiye and for Northern Cyprus, the on-duty rosters come from the official lists published by the provincial pharmacists' chambers and are refreshed every day. The app always shows when the list was last updated — if the data is old, we tell you instead of hiding it. In Germany, Eczanow covers pharmacies in all 16 states and shows whether each one is open right now. It does not provide the German emergency duty roster (Notdienst). WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW Pharmacy hours in Türkiye are set province by province; in some provinces the on-duty shift starts on Saturday afternoon. On public and religious holidays only on-duty pharmacies are open all day. The app accounts for these differences. In small towns the on-duty pharmacy may keep an "on-call" shift instead of waiting in the shop, meaning the pharmacist comes when phoned. We recommend calling before you set out. LOCATION PRIVACY Your location never leaves your device. The nearest-pharmacy ordering is calculated on your phone; no coordinates are sent to our servers. The app also works without location permission — you can pick a province yourself. Eczanow is not a health advice app. It does not recommend medication or provide medical guidance; it only lists the location and contact details of pharmacies. In an emergency call 112.
