Atlas Radio turns a Hawaii drive into an offline radio journey. Listen to Island Afterglow, a complete on-device station of original island music, fictional period radio spots, and story narration. The music and available narration travel with the app, so the core experience does not depend on a data connection after installation. Turn on Automatic Story Playback once. When you approach a point of interest that has an Echo's Atlas Story, Atlas Radio saves the story automatically. If the radio is playing, it pauses the music, plays the story, then resumes the same song where it left off. If the radio is not playing, the story is saved without unexpectedly starting audio, ready for you to hear later. Atlas Radio is a listening companion, not a navigation app. It does not provide directions or route guidance. Location is processed on the device and is never uploaded or stored. The radio and story browser remain available without location access. Features: - 164 music titles with 328 station takes - 239 Echo's Atlas Stories, including 233 available offline narrations - Automatic Story Playback at predefined points of interest - automatic story saving, music pause, story playback, and same-song resumption - an optional background-alert setting - readable story cards when narration is unavailable - portrait and landscape radio layouts for iPhone and iPad - VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, and adjustable playback controls - optional import of your own local audio files Some stories discuss war, natural disasters, death, contested history, and sacred or culturally significant places.
