When the ground moves, seconds decide. This is an early warning network that tries to reach you before the shaking does. The moment an epicentre is detected, a push notification lands on your phone and a countdown starts on screen showing how many seconds you have before the destructive S wave arrives. No account. No ads. No paywall. WHY THIS APP ▪ No sign-up — no email, no phone number, no password. You stay anonymous. ▪ Free with no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscription. ▪ No background location tracking. Your position is only read while the app is open, and the app still works if you decline the permission. ▪ You set the threshold. Not interested in anything below M4.0? Then you never see it, and your phone stays quiet. HOW THE EARLY WARNING WORKS Seismic waves travel at different speeds. The fast P wave is harmless and arrives first; the slower S wave does the damage. The server uses that gap, measures your distance from the epicentre and counts down the seconds you have left, right on the alert screen. The further you are, the more warning you get. Your phone helps too: when its accelerometer feels a jolt, the reading is shared anonymously. If several devices in the same area report shaking at the same moment, the event is confirmed — so one phone falling off a desk cannot set off a false alarm for everyone. WHAT IS INSIDE ▪ Live map — every quake coloured by magnitude, tap any one for depth and source ▪ Quake list — filter by magnitude and time, find the one nearest to you ▪ Statistics — magnitude, depth and source breakdown for the last 24 hours ▪ Safety guide — Drop, Cover, Hold On; go-bag contents; what to do in a car; first aid basics ▪ Emergency numbers — one tap to call ▪ Dark theme for night-time checking ▪ Delete My Data — wipes your device record, location and preferences from the server and the phone DATA SOURCES USGS worldwide feed, EMSC for Europe and the Mediterranean, and Kandilli Observatory (KOERI) for Turkey. The list merges all three; the early warning is driven by the EMSC real-time stream. IMPORTANT This is not an official disaster warning system and does not replace alerts from your national authority. Delivery depends on your internet connection, notification permission, device state and third-party data feeds, so a warning may not arrive for every quake. Silence does not mean nothing happened. Always follow the instructions of official emergency services.
