Store description excerpt

Hearing aids are easy to lose. They are small, light and you put them down without noticing. Earshot helps you find them again. HOW IT WORKS Earshot measures the Bluetooth signal strength of your hearing aids. The closer you get, the stronger the meter reads — like a game of hot and cold. It also remembers the place where you last had the hearing aid with you, which helps even once it is out of range. LEFT AND RIGHT, SEPARATELY Each hearing aid is its own device with its own signal. Earshot tracks them separately, so when you lose just one, you search for that one. BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO WEAR HEARING AIDS Large type, high contrast, big buttons. And most importantly: the main feedback is vibration, not beeping. Someone searching for their hearing aids is not wearing them. PRIVACY Earshot has no account and needs no sign-up. It sends nothing to a server. The location of the last connection stays on your phone. The app only tracks the devices you mark as your own. WHAT EARSHOT CANNOT DO It cannot point a direction arrow like an AirTag — that needs a UWB chip, which hearing aids do not have. Distance is an estimate from signal strength, not a precise measurement. And the hearing aid must be switched on and within Bluetooth range, which indoors is roughly ten metres. COMPATIBILITY Tested with Phonak Audéo P30-R hearing aids. The app can work with other Bluetooth devices too — during setup you can pick any of them. Phonak is a trademark of Sonova AG. Earshot is not a Sonova product and is not affiliated with Sonova.
