Plan parenting time together: - Keep custody days, handoffs, holidays, events, and schedule history in one clear plan. - Choose a holiday region for local starting dates, including Canadian Thanksgiving and UK/Irish Mother's Day. Review dates to match your family and school calendar. - Exchange dates with Swap Requests, or offer parenting days without requesting dates back. - Compare changes before approval and share proposals through Messages. - On supported devices running iOS 27 or iPadOS 27 or later, Smart Proposals use Private Cloud Compute to draft 2-2-3, weekly, or custom parenting schedules. Review every suggestion before applying it. Track shared expenses: - Record child care, school, activities, and other shared costs. See who paid and who owes what. - Record expenses in US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars, pounds sterling or euros. Balances stay separate by currency. - Split equally, enter percentages, or set each parent's shares. Save a default for future expenses. - Record settlements made outside Duet. No bank connection or money transfer is required. - Track support payments separately from shared expense balances. - Either parent can raise an issue with an expense or settlement after it is recorded. - Turn expense alerts on or off in Settings. Expenses use your existing family sharing. Turn family information into action: - Share a school email, file, photo, or text with Duet from another app. - On supported devices, AI suggests events and concrete tasks. Review and edit each suggestion before adding it. - Keep school forms, camp details, travel documents, and photos beside the relevant conversation. - Chat, assign tasks, and see when messages are read. Choose the setup that fits: - Separated adds parenting-day assignments, handoffs, pickup tools, Swap Requests, and schedule history. - Married keeps one-household planning focused on shared events, holidays, tasks, topics, and files. - Switch modes without deleting your saved schedule data. Stay coordinated every day: - Invite the other parent to your shared iCloud calendar. - Choose alerts for shared events, expenses, and other family updates. - Link events to Apple Calendar and keep track of upcoming plans with widgets. - Ask Siri about parenting assignments, the next parenting weekend, family events, holidays, and open tasks. - Open cached family information when the network drops.
