DropTurf is a private production companion for rug tufters who want the creative freedom of a hand-drawn design with the discipline of a measured workshop plan. CALIBRATE ART TO YOUR REAL FRAME Choose a reference image, enter usable cloth dimensions, and pin its four corners. DropTurf maps the image to your actual frame with a perspective grid based only on the points and measurements you provide - no AI interpretation. DRAW ZONES WITH REAL AREA Trace custom polygon zones over the calibrated canvas, move individual vertices, rename shapes, and archive mistakes with Undo. Each zone keeps its real area, design color, cut or loop pile, pile height, density, and up to two yarns with an adjustable blend ratio. WORK FROM A LIVE PRODUCTION CANVAS Fill completed zones directly on the canvas, pinch to zoom, and use two fingers to move across the frame. Progress is calculated by tufted area, not by a vague checklist. Open the 3D frame preview to see finished zones rise above the remaining monk's cloth. KNOW YOUR YARN BEFORE THE BORDER Build a shelf with brand, color, cones, grams remaining, yield, lot notes, and supplier details. DropTurf combines zone area, pile height, density, blend ratio, and waste factor to estimate yarn needs and reveal color shortfalls before the cone runs out. LOG FOCUSED FRAME SESSIONS Start and stop the in-app timer when you work. On save, review newly completed zones, adjust estimated grams to match your scale, add a note, and deduct actual use from shelf stock. The journal keeps duration, colors, area, and progress together. LEARN FROM THE WORK See coverage by zone, forecast sessions remaining from logged area, compare day and evening pace when enough data exists, and derive a future waste factor from planned versus actual grams. These are transparent local calculations, never productivity grades. KEEP THE WORKSHOP TOGETHER Record backing and underlay notes, move projects through tufting and completion, preserve activity history, archive and restore rugs or yarns, switch between centimetres and inches, and export all workshop data as JSON. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Projects, selected reference images, zones, shelf records, sessions, and insights remain on your device unless you explicitly export them. DropTurf has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, subscriptions, cloud sync, or automatic image analysis. Photo-library access is requested only when you choose a reference image. Measurements and estimates are planning aids. Verify materials, tool settings, and frame dimensions before production.
