DroidLink - Remote Control & Screen Share DroidLink lets you securely share an Android screen or remotely control another Android device with the device owner's knowledge and consent. It is designed for remote support, troubleshooting, family assistance, and team collaboration. KEY FEATURES 📱 Screen Sharing • Create a temporary QR code or invite code • Approve every connection before sharing • Request Android screen capture permission • Stream the screen in real time using WebRTC • End the session at any time 🎮 Remote Control When enabled by the device owner, an approved participant can: • Tap and long-press • Swipe and scroll • Use Back, Home, and Recents • Enter text into the focused field • Switch between remote control and view-only modes 💻 Remote Support • Scan a QR code or enter an invite code • Wait for the host to approve the connection • View the screen in real time • Use supported remote gestures and text input • Use view-only mode when control is not needed HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a temporary invite. 2. Scan the QR code or enter the invite code. 3. The host accepts the connection. 4. The host grants screen capture permission. 5. Remote control is optional and requires Accessibility. 6. The host can end the session at any time. ♿ ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DroidLink uses Android's AccessibilityService API only for optional remote-control functionality. Accessibility is NOT required for view-only screen sharing. The device owner must manually enable Accessibility in Android Settings. During an active, user-approved remote-control session, AccessibilityService translates commands from the approved remote participant into supported Android actions, including: • Tap and long-press • Swipe and scroll • Back, Home, and Recents • Text input into the focused field For example, an approved remote participant can send a tap command, which DroidLink performs on the host device through AccessibilityService. Accessibility does not automatically start or accept sessions. DroidLink does not automatically accept incoming connections or provide hidden remote access. DroidLink does NOT use AccessibilityService to: • Bypass security or permission dialogs • Obtain passwords or authentication credentials • Perform hidden or unauthorized actions • Automatically control the device without an approved session • Run autonomous automation workflows The device owner can disable Accessibility or end the session at any time. 🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY DroidLink is designed for attended remote support with clear user consent. • The host creates or shares an invitation. • The controller requests a connection. • The host explicitly accepts the request. • Screen sharing requires Android screen capture permission. • Remote control requires Accessibility to be manually enabled. • Incoming sessions are not automatically accepted. • The host can disconnect at any time. • Temporary invitations are designed to expire. 🛠️ USE CASES • Family device assistance • Re
