Store description excerpt
DRM Video Plus is a receiver and player for DRM+ (Digital Radio Mondiale Mode E), the VHF variant of the open digital radio broadcasting standard. A DRM+ broadcast carries more than sound. This app decodes the whole multiplex and shows everything the station sends. WHAT YOU CAN RECEIVE - Audio in xHE-AAC and AAC, including multi-service stations - Slideshows sent alongside the programme - Journaline text pages you can browse - Broadcast websites - Video, where the station provides it THREE WAYS TO LISTEN Live over Bluetooth Connect an N88-BT receiver and tune it from the app. Enter a frequency or step through the band, check signal strength, and start receiving. You can retune while listening without interrupting the stream. Live over Wi-Fi Join the network created by another device that is already receiving, and take the same broadcast over Wi-Fi. From a recording Play DCP files stored in the app. Copy your own in with the Files app, or record what you receive and play it back later. RECORDING Anything you receive can be saved as a standard DCP file, so it can be replayed here or opened in other DRM software. A capture-only mode records the stream without decoding it. WHILE YOU LISTEN Playback continues with the screen off, and the station name appears on the lock screen. WHAT YOU NEED Reception over Bluetooth requires an N88-BT receiver. Without one you can still play recordings, and a sample file is included so you can try the app straight away.
