You drove. You put 60 EUR of diesel in the tank, paid 12,40 EUR in tolls and another 4 EUR for parking. Now try splitting that four ways, in your head, standing in the car park. DriveSplit does that sum in seconds. HOW IT WORKS You type the kilometres, how many people are in the car and the fuel price. The app uses your car's fuel consumption to turn distance into money and tells you what each person owes. You can add tolls and parking, and mark the trip as one way or return. No GPS. You type the distance yourself, because you already know the route and because no app needs to follow you around to do a division. SHARING THE BILL At the end, one tap renders an image with the trip summary, ready to send on WhatsApp or Messages. Whoever receives it understands the split without installing anything. You can put your payment details on the image, so you do not have to repeat them. WHO HAS PAID You tick off whoever has settled up with you. Names and a check mark, nothing else. The app never processes money and never touches your bank accounts. WHAT IS KEPT Every trip goes into a history, with a monthly and yearly summary by category: fuel, tolls, parking. You can keep several cars, each with its own consumption, and override the consumption for a single trip when the route was out of the ordinary. PRIVACY, ACTUALLY There is no account to create. No password. No server holding your trips. Everything stays on your phone, and deleting the app deletes it all with it. Distances are in kilometres and money is always in euros. Free to download. Creating trips requires a purchase: one payment for life, or a yearly subscription.
