Driver Trip Log app is meant to be used by 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) company drivers to record progress of their assigned trips. NOTE: GEO TRACKING ENABLED. CONTINUED USE OF GPS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND CAN DRAMATICALLY DECREASE BATTERY LIFE. Using the app, the drivers can - o View details of assigned trips o Carry out pre-trip checks to ascertain if all the prerequisites for a trip, such as driver fitness for trip, consignment safety checks etc. are in place o Record various events of the journey such as arrivals or departures, handover or takeover of consignments o Record various details of the consignment received or delivered, such as the consignment type, quantity, whether consignment was damaged and details of the leased pallet(s) used for transporting the consignment, if any o Record Proof of Delivery by taking the receiver’s signature on the mobile device using Sign-On Glass. The receiver can also record the feedback on the quality of service by assigning a certain number of stars on the app itself o Record trip expenses
