Doodle is a private paper space for thoughts that do not need to become tasks. No titles, categories, streaks, or check-ins. Open the app and write. When you are done, pinch with two fingers to crumple your words into a paper ball. It lands in your stack and waits quietly. When you need more than words, explicitly attach up to six photos and five voice recordings. They sit along the paper edge as thumbnails and sound slips. Camera, photo-library, and microphone access begins only after you tap the corresponding action. There is no lift-to-camera, ambient listening, or background recording. Write. Crumple. Let go. ◆ Paper you can feel Crumpling, flight, and landing have their own sound and haptics. Paper balls collide on the table. Tilt your iPhone and they roll with it. ◆ Tear it, keep every word Open an old paper and either crumple it back into the stack or confirm a tear. Photos and recordings are deleted immediately; the complete text is distributed across 8, 10, or 12 private on-device scraps. ◆ Make a patchwork ball Open the tracing-paper scrap cone from the stack, stir the whole pile, and choose any 8–12 pieces one by one. Mix sources, move, rotate, lightly snap matching source edges, and add translucent tape. Completion returns a patchwork paper ball to the stack; tearing it again restores the same scraps. ◆ Private to this iPhone No account, server, cloud sync, ads, or tracking. Writing, photos, recordings, and local diagnostic records stay inside the app sandbox. You can export and restore papers, scraps, and collage layouts as JSON; photo and audio files are not included, and the export screen says so clearly. Doodle supports Simplified Chinese and English, VoiceOver semantics, larger text, Reduced Motion, optional device authentication, and separate controls for haptics and paper sounds. Doodle does not ask you to optimize yourself. It simply gives the present thought a sheet of paper.
