How many hours did she work this month? And what does she cost you? If the answer is a note in the kitchen, a notebook or a spreadsheet, DominusDomi takes their place. It keeps the record of whoever helps you at home — nanny, housekeeper, carer, babysitter, cleaner — and writes the hours, the attendance and the cost. DominusDomi does the thing you miss every day — knowing — and it saves you money. WHAT WILL I SPEND THIS MONTH? Every hour becomes an amount the moment it passes. By mid-month you already know where you will land, because the forecast is smart: it does not multiply hours by rate, it learns the habits of whoever comes — how long she really stays, how often she skips, the extra hours — and carries them to the last day. No sums at night, no surprise when the time comes to pay. WHO IS AT HOME RIGHT NOW? Open the app and see who arrived, at what time, and whether they are still there. It updates itself even when the app is closed. And when all is well, it says so. WHO COUNTS THE HOURS? The app does. She touches her phone to the DominusDomi tag on the way in and out: you never ask, she never has to remember. The tag is encrypted — the code changes at every read, and a copy does not work. Hours are written to the minute, the same on both phones. WHAT IF IT RAINS ON WINDOW DAY? This is where the app pays for itself. It cross-checks the weather against the days someone is coming: if it rains on Friday it offers the first dry day — one tap and the shift moves. Those are hours you would have paid for, thrown away by the rain. Smart, and it saves you money. HOW OFTEN DOES SHE ARRIVE ON TIME? "Punctual" is an opinion. "On time 57 times out of 60" is a number. The app keeps count and puts late arrivals in front of you. And you both see that number: nothing left to argue about. WHAT IF WE DON'T SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE? Write "clean the kitchen windows" in your language. She reads it in Romanian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Polish, Albanian, Russian, Filipino or Italian: tasks translate themselves as you write them. IF YOU ARE THE ONE WORKING IN HOMES The app is yours too, and you do not pay for it. Your hours are already written, to the minute, from arrival to departure: when you talk about money you both see the same numbers. And you do not only know what you have earned so far — you already know what you will have earned by month's end, across every home you work in. Hours, punctuality, the homes you have worked in: it is your record, it costs you nothing, and it stays with you when you change family. When it is time to ask for a raise, the app works out how much to ask from what you have done, and writes the message for you. Instead of the awkwardness, a number. DOES IT DO THE PAYSLIP? No, and it should not. Domestic work has its own rules: the contract, the contributions and the payslip remain due, with your accountant.
