Dohvara helps a homeowner and an individual tradesperson build one clear home work agreement together. Each person uses their own phone to see the same scope, milestones, signatures, changes, and standing balance. BUILD THE SCOPE TOGETHER - Add work lines in plain language - Record who supplies materials - Set an amount and target date - Keep both versions when people edit the same line while apart - Review every promise before either person signs SIGN THE SAME REVISION A proposal does not become the standing agreement after one tap. Each phone signs the exact revision shown on screen. The scope becomes read-only only when both signatures cover the same revision hash. CONFIRM PROGRESS IN TWO STEPS Split work into ordered milestones. The tradesperson marks a milestone done and can attach a full-resolution evidence photo. The homeowner then confirms the work or records a specific objection. Neither side can advance a milestone alone. AMEND WITHOUT ERASING HISTORY Unexpected work can become a named amendment with a clear amount change and optional scope addition. Both people sign the amendment. Earlier events and completed milestone anchors remain in the history. SEE THE STANDING ANSWER The folio keeps four answers visible: - Total amount mutually agreed - Value of work confirmed - Amount still owed - Which person acts next The append-only evidence view verifies event hashes, device signatures, author sequences, and predecessor links. Events that fail verification are quarantined instead of changing the agreement. WORK THROUGH CONNECTION CHANGES Signed events are kept on each phone and synchronized when a connection is available. If the cloud relay is unavailable, the two phones can exchange signed events on the same local network. Concurrent proposals are merged deterministically without silently discarding either person's words. EVIDENCE PHOTO HANDLING Evidence photos stay on the two agreement phones. An encrypted photo can pass through a two-peer relay while both people are connected, but the relay does not persist the image. The agreement service stores its cryptographic hash so the received file can be verified. SAFETY AND CONTROL Every active agreement includes controls to report or block the other party, a dedicated Child Safety screen, and a published child-safety standard. Users can archive an agreement or delete the anonymous account and local data from the Privacy screen. Dohvara is for direct agreements between two ordinary people.
