DocSearch+ is a full-text search app designed specifically for finding files and their contents on your phone. Search both filenames and the text inside your files using keywords. Unlike general phone search tools, DocSearch+ focuses on files and documents, helping you find the information you need without unrelated results such as phone numbers, contacts, or apps. When you use DocSearch+ for the first time, you will be prompted to create an index of your documents. The index allows DocSearch+ to search filenames and file contents quickly and efficiently. To provide full file-content search, DocSearch+ requires the "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission. This permission is used for the core function of indexing documents so that files can be searched by their contents. Without document indexing, the main full-text search functionality would not work. Simply enter one or more keywords in the search box and tap the search button. Search results are displayed immediately, and you can quickly jump to the matching words in the file content. Features: • Full-text search of filenames and file contents. • View file contents directly within the app without switching to another application. • View, open, copy, move, delete, sort, filter, and share search results. • Access search-result files with a file explorer. • Quickly jump to matching words in full-text view. • View multiple matching text snippets at the same time in brief-text view. • Supports many file formats, including plain text (txt, text, java, php, etc.), Microsoft Office (doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx), PDF, EPUB, ODT, and HTML. • Supports logical/Boolean search, phrase search, proximity search, regular expression (regex) search, and grep search. • Supports multi-page search results. • Search for special characters and strings such as "#abc", "2366–1245", and "[tom@mail.com](mailto:tom@mail.com)". • Supports a wide range of languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Vietnamese, Tamil, Czech, Tibetan, and many more. Subscription features: • Sort and filter search results — Standard and Premium. • Unlimited access to file contents in search results — Premium. • Search for additional keywords within search results — Premium. Privacy and permissions: We respect your privacy and only request permissions necessary for DocSearch+'s core functionality. The "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission is required to index documents and provide full file-content search. Your files are used by DocSearch+ for its search and indexing functions.
