DMD2 keeps running so your ride doesn't: • Turn-by-turn keeps guiding — voice instructions and off-route recalculation continue with the app in the background or the screen off • The GPX recorder keeps logging your track, so backgrounding the app never leaves a gap in the ride you recorded • Riding groups keep sending your position so the rest of the pack can still see you on their map Each runs only while that feature is active, shows a notification you can tap to come straight back, and stops on its own when the route ends, the recording stops, or you leave the group.
