The Institut Lusérn / Cimbrian Institute is located in Lusérn/Luserna and is renamed the "Kulturinstitut Lusérn." The Institute's purpose is to protect and safeguard, promote and enhance the ethnographic and cultural heritage of the German-speaking minority in the Municipality of Lusérn/Luserna, with particular attention to linguistic expressions, historical expressions, environmental protection, and the economic and cultural development of the minority's settlement area. To achieve these goals, the involvement and participation of the Cimbrian community in the Institute's activities is a particularly important aspect of its work.
