Discover Cullen and enjoy 12 curated woodland and coastal walks around this beautiful coastal town in Moray Scotland. Cullen village sits in the perfect location for seaside walks and views, has its own beautiful beach, and is the home of the famous Cullen Skink. It also enjoys a unique micro-climate caused by its position between the Deveron and Spey rivers, and is provided shelter by the Grampian hills. Features 12 curated trails with a variety of types and duration. Walks all start from the centre of the village to woods and beaches in and around Cullen. The app trail map shows your location to orientate yourself on each trail. Unlock special content by finding and scanning QR codes posts you will find whilst on the routes. The app is designed as an ‘Eco museum’, allowing the user to collect images and documents about Cullen and its past along the way. Includes five family friendly quizzes and challenges with things to do on the walking trails. Discover special offers from local businesses around Cullen and #LoveLocal. The app was part-financed by the Scottish Government, the European Community Moray LEADER 2014-2020 programme and the Heritage Lottery, and was produced by the Cullen Volunteer Group, who were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary service in 2021.
