DigLu aims to create a cross-border digital infrastructure for the education of children of migrant workers, combining the concept of "learning on the move" with the possibilities of the digital world and thus elevating it to a new level. In particular, DigLu is intended to achieve the following improvements in the education of children of migrant workers: Continuity of learning on the move: Children of migrant workers can be continuously supported and guided through DigLu by teachers from their home and support schools, as well as by regional teachers (including via video communication). Documentation of learning progress and performance assessment: All teachers involved in the education of children of migrant workers are expected to document learning progress and performance assessment in DigLu. Teachers are responsible for approaching this area with great care and attention, and for complementing each other's efforts. Location-independent access to diverse teaching and learning materials: The internet makes it possible to provide highly individualized teaching and learning materials in a wide variety of formats, tailored to the needs of each child.
