ShiftPlanPro is a free application that allows you to create shift schedules collaboratively and automatically. The advantages of ShiftPlanPro: - Every employee can log in to the software and enter their shift preferences ("no shift," "happy to work," "vacation," "sick"). These preferences are clearly displayed to the administrator when the schedule is created. - Alternatively, the administrator can also enter shift preferences for colleagues who are not logged in. - For each employee, you can specify the type of shift they participate in and the maximum number of shifts they can work. - For each shift type, you can specify whether the same colleague may work two consecutive days of that shift. If this is prohibited, the software will indicate any ineligible consecutive shifts. - During shift planning, the number of shifts already assigned to each colleague is displayed. If any of the limitations (no shifts possible, maximum number of shifts per person) are exceeded, this will also be indicated. - For each day and shift type, the number of available colleagues is displayed. This makes any bottlenecks immediately visible at the start of the planning process. - If desired, shifts can also be assigned automatically by the software, taking all limitations (see above) into account. The software also assigns shifts proportionally to the maximum possible number of shifts per colleague. Once all colleagues' preferences have been entered, the schedule can be created with just one click. - Manual revisions are possible for the administrator at any time. - Different permission levels for viewing or editing the schedule can be assigned to different employees. The schedules are generated monthly and can be downloaded as a PDF, printed, and/or sent via email from the app. After completing the schedule, employees can transfer their own shifts from the app to a calendar on their Android smartphone or download them as an ICS file for import into calendar software.
