The system includes: 📱 Built-in accelerometer sensors of mobile phones 📡 Independently operating professional seismic sensor stations in the field all evaluated together. By detecting the initial seismic waves (P-waves) generated during an earthquake, the user can be informed within seconds, before the more destructive S-waves reach the region. This mechanism is based on an early warning principle that operates after the earthquake has started, based on the laws of physics. The effectiveness of the system is directly related to the user's distance from the earthquake epicenter. 🌦️ PROBABILITY-BASED RISK ANALYSIS Seismic Alert uses probability-based analysis methods similar to weather forecasting systems.
