App requires Location background mode to provide update on locations of vendors using the application for package delivery purposes. This app provides delivery notification, updates, proof-of-delivery capture and package Barcode capture from a contracted vendor to Deluxe Delivery Systems, Inc. "Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."
