DecibelCam is a timestamp camera: the date, the time, your GPS location and the live noise level in decibels get burned into every photo and every video frame. Into the pixels, not into metadata that can be edited away later. It also films before you tell it to. Turn on pre-roll and the camera quietly keeps the last 30 seconds — press record and they're saved onto the front of your video. Your parrot's first word, the fender-bender, the thing nobody believes actually happened: you have it. TIME STAMP, GPS AND DECIBELS ON EVERY SHOT • Date and time stamp on photos and videos, in the format you choose • GPS location stamp: coordinates, accuracy radius, and optionally compass, altitude and street address • Live decibel level from the microphone, with dBA weighting and a frequency spectrum • A mini-map with your route drawn onto the video A DASH CAM THAT ALREADY RECORDED • Pre-roll: the 30 seconds BEFORE you pressed record, merged into one file — it runs in photo mode too, so a sudden "quick, film this!" still catches what came first • Motion Photo: every still secretly carries a short clip • Burst: hold the shutter for up to 100 frames and pick the keepers later, in their own album YOUR MUSIC KEEPS PLAYING Music is on, someone starts dancing to it, you hit record — and the music cuts out. Every stock camera does that. DecibelCam lets you choose: film with your music still playing, or have it pause for clean sound. One toggle. EVERY SHOT CAN PROVE ITSELF DecibelCam exists because of a real 300-euro lawyer's letter over "two days of parrot noise", with zero proof on either side. So this camera makes proof automatic: • A tamper-evident journal: every capture gets a SHA-256 fingerprint the moment it's saved, so you can show a file was never touched • Export a PDF evidence report or a CSV you can hand to a landlord, insurer or lawyer • Share a clean copy with the hidden metadata stripped out YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING YOU SHOOT Put your own watermark on photos and videos: drag it anywhere, size it, done.
