TRANSPARENCY Each level only requests permissions for that feature. Only Level 1 is mandatory (notifications + Network Shield). The App Monitor (AccessibilityService API) is optional: the rest of the protection works without it. USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API Daymoon uses the Android AccessibilityService API in the optional "App Monitor" feature (level 5). This app is NOT an accessibility tool for people with disabilities and does NOT mark isAccessibilityTool. The API is only for security, compliance, and fraud prevention. Why the AccessibilityService API is necessary: Android does not offer another API with a smaller scope to know which application has come to the foreground and prevent the opening of apps that the user has chosen to block. What the AccessibilityService API does in this app: • Detects only the name of the application that has entered the screen (typeWindowStateChanged event). • If it is on the block list and the block is active (Theft Mode or outside a safe zone), returns the phone to the home screen (GLOBAL_ACTION_HOME). • Does not read screen content, texts, passwords, or messages. • Does not record typing and does not take screenshots. • Does not alter system settings, does not prevent Daymoon from being uninstalled, and does not bypass Android privacy controls.
