Store description excerpt

Dara brings a traditional West African strategy game to your phone — a Nigerian relative of Morris played for generations by the Yoruba and Dakarkari peoples. THE REAL GAME Every match has two phases. First, Drop: take turns placing your 12 pieces onto the 5x6 board — you can never make 4 in a row, even while dropping. Then, Move: slide one piece at a time into an adjacent empty cell. Line up exactly 3 of your own pieces — orthogonally, not diagonally — and you capture an enemy piece. PROTECTED PIECES A piece already sitting in one of your opponent's own 3-in-a-rows is safe — unless every last one of their pieces is protected, in which case you may take any of them. Reduce your opponent to just 2 pieces and you win. PLAY YOUR WAY - Three AI difficulty levels, from a casual opponent to a real challenge - Local two-player pass-and-play on the same device - A full walkthrough built in, plus a How to Play button whenever you need a refresher - No ads, no gambling, no chip economy - Works completely offline From the makers of Fanorona — another centuries-old African board game, brought to your phone the same way: real rules, a real AI, no gimmicks.
