One cut and you die. So does almost everyone else. Dankal is a top-down sword game set in Joseon Korea. There is no health bar. Your enemies mostly have none either. A single stroke settles it. EVERY STRIKE IS ANNOUNCED A red arc appears before a blade falls. It is always there, and it is always long enough to react to. If you were hit, you were not unlucky. You were late. SIXTY BOUTS The ground, the enemies, the order they arrive — every bout is placed by hand. Nothing is rolled at random. Your record and mine are set on the same board. SIX WAYS TO DIE Grunts, swordsmen, spearmen, archers, arc-shooters. And the armored, who do not fall to one cut. Armor can be strapped onto any of them. CUT THEM TOGETHER Herd them into a line and take them in a single swing. Strike from behind for a higher score. Points reward nerve, not patience. BLOODBATH No bouts. No end. They pour in until you fall. The same board every time, so the leaderboard means something. WHERE DO YOU RANK Every run is measured against the world. No account, no sign-in, no name to type. The ranking is there from your first death. Two thumbs. Move and cut. Sixteen languages. Plays offline. EARN COINS, AIM HIGHER Defeat enemies to earn coins. Choose a fast dagger, balanced dual blades, or a wide great blade in the shop. Upgrade each weapon up to 3 levels. Buy slash effects, then aim for a personal best and a higher world rank. Training does not award coins.
