Store description excerpt
21 days of the Daniel Fast, one day at a time. Each day the app shows what to eat, the passage that belongs to that day, and what the fast leaves out. You write down how it went. The streak counts itself. EVERY DAY A day card with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, drawn from 28 dishes that all sit inside the fast. The scripture for that day in the King James Version, stored in the app itself. Room for your own notes. THE FOOD IS THE POINT Every recipe is already the Daniel Fast version. Where a swap is needed the recipe says so and says what to use instead: date paste for honey, whole wheat for white flour, olive oil for butter. Where a swap changes the dish, it says that too. Bread made without yeast is flat bread, and the app calls it flat bread. A GROCERY LIST THAT ADDS UP Pick three days, seven days or the whole fast, and the list adds the ingredients together across those days. It scales to the number of people you cook for. Tick things off as they go in the basket. CHECK A LABEL IN THE SHOP Photograph the ingredient list on a jar and the app reads it. It gives three answers: it fits, it does not fit, or it cannot tell you for certain. On a fast a wrong yes is worse than an honest I do not know. The reading happens on your phone and no photo is kept. A QUIET REMINDER One nudge a day, at a time you choose, carrying the theme and the passage for that day. Nothing leaves your phone. IT LEARNS WHAT YOU EAT A few cards at the start, about twenty seconds, and you can skip them. Mark anything you cannot have and every dish that contains it carries a warning. Nothing is hidden from you. YOUR NOTES STAY YOURS Check-ins, notes and your streak are kept in your own iCloud. Get a new phone and they are there again. There is no account and no password: it uses the Apple Account you already have. The whole app works with no connection at all. WHAT IT COSTS Days one to three are free, together with the food list and the 17 recipes that also live on biblical.recipes. One payment opens the rest: the remaining 18 days, the grocery lists for the whole fast, the label scanner without a limit, and 11 cookbook dishes you will not find anywhere else. One payment, once. There is no subscription. This is a religious observance and not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before you change how you eat, certainly during pregnancy or with diabetes, an eating disorder or another condition.
