At takhat shri damdama sahib “ guru ki kanshi ” the tenth guru of sikhs shri Guru Gobind Singh ji from the beginning of full moon of katak sudi 1762 bikrami to 23rd sawan 1763 bikrami got shri guru granth sahib ji complied by the great writer bhai mani singh ji by narrating the whole gurbani orlly from “ ek onkar to atharah dus bees ”.guru ji wrote the gurbani before the noon and in the late noon hours use to explain the meaning of written gurbani to 48 sikhs, among those 48 sikhs guru ji ordered to bhai mani singh ji by giving his verdict to go to shri darbar sahib amritsar to serve there as a priest (granthi and interpreter of gurbani).he added that your spirtual state will remain unaffected even though your body is cut into small pieces,guru ji orderded to baba deep singh ji to stay at takhat shri damdama sahib and to serve as interpreter of gurbani and sikh missonary.he added that your spirtual state will remain as it is even though your head is cutt off from your body. Shriman sant giani sundar singh ji bhindranwale became the 11th head of damdami taksal who was born in village bhinder-kalan and because of this the taksal came to be known as “ jatha bhindran ”.after him start sant giani gurbachan singh ji khalsa bhindranwale became the gurmat all around. He was born at 02:30 am in village akhara,tehsil jagron,distt. Ludhiana in 1959 bikrami on full moon of magh and sagrand of faghan on wednesday in year 1902. The great soul breasted his last in village mehta while reciting waheguru mantra at the time 02:10 am on 20th june 1969 (on 15th harh bikrami 2026) he made his way to sachkhand at the place of bhora sahib.the 13th head of damdami taksal sant giani kartar singh ji khalsa bhindranwale got built the gurudwara gurdarshan parkash in the sweet memory of sant giani gurbachan singh ji khalsa bhindranwale and started a sangeet academy.
