Your blocked-app list and your reading history never leave your phone. The app makes no network requests at all. ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION Daily Shloks uses Android's accessibility service for one purpose: to notice the moment you open an app you have chosen to block, so it can show you a shloka first. It receives only the package name of the app being opened. It does not read the contents of your screen. This is enforced technically — the service is declared without screen-content access, so it cannot see your messages, your passwords, or anything you type, in any app. You can turn the permission off at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.
