Store description excerpt
Curo is a focus timer built around the parts of working that ADHD actually makes hard. TIME YOU CAN SEE The countdown lives in the Mac menu bar and on the iPhone Lock Screen, so it's already on screen when you glance — you never have to go and look for it. The digits sit inside a ring that empties, because a shape that's visibly two-thirds gone tells you where you are without doing arithmetic about it. RUNNING LONG IS NOT FAILING When the planned time is up, the timer keeps counting — +3:12 — instead of stopping. In amber, never red. Sometimes the right move is to keep going, and an app can't know which time this is. ONE STEP, NOT A LIST Type a rough breakdown, one line each, and Curo shows exactly one of them. The rest are kept and hidden. A step you can't face goes to the back with "Later" — without being deleted or lied about. SOMEWHERE TO PUT THE THOUGHT Press ⌥⌘Space anywhere on the Mac, or ask Siri on iPhone, and a one-line field takes whatever just interrupted you. It's out of your head in two seconds, and the queue waits on its own screen until you go looking — not while you're working. WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DID A streak that survives an empty today and only breaks after a whole day passes. A fortnight's chart that draws the blank days instead of quietly closing the gaps. Sessions logged with focused time and wall-clock time side by side: "38 min focused across 71 min at the desk." IT NEVER LOSES TIME Elapsed time is read from timestamps, not counted up by a ticking timer, so a session survives the Mac sleeping, the phone locking, or the app being killed. Quit mid-session and reopen an hour later and the clock has moved on exactly as it should have. FREE, AND STAYS FREE The timer, both countdowns, task steps, breaks and capture cost nothing and always will. Curo Pro ($3.99/month or $25.99/year) extends the review from one week of history to three months. Sessions are recorded whether or not you subscribe, and nothing is ever deleted to make a point. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER, NO TRACKING Curo has no account, sends nothing anywhere, and contains no analytics or advertising. Everything it records stays on your device. --- Curo is a focus timer. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition, including ADHD.
