It is necessary to know the history of the London Missionary Society (LMS) before knowing the history of CSI. Christ Church is located in Tirupattur district, near the bus station. The London Missionary Society (LMS) was founded in the City of London in 1795. Several Christians from the City of London founded the Society. Hundreds of missionaries were sent from here to various parts of the world. They were specifically sent to spread the gospel in India. From its inception in 1795 to 1945, the London Missionary Society sent 1800 missionaries all over the world, the majority of whom were in England and Scotland. Engineers deployed from These missionaries were sent to a variety of locations around the world, including India, China, Africa, Australia, and various Pacific Island nations.
