Store description excerpt

Piano is a falling-note rhythm game and pocket piano in one, wrapped in a retro CRT terminal look. PLAY REAL SONGS. Over 140 built-in melodies across eight categories: Classical (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and more), Children's songs, Folk, Religious hymns, National anthems, Blues, Holiday favorites, and early Pop standards. Every song is a public domain work in a simplified arrangement, from Twinkle Twinkle to Flight of the Bumblebee. FALLING NOTES GAME Notes fall down the screen toward the keys. Hit them on time for perfect and good judgments, build combos, and hold long notes to earn sustain bonuses—a fill-up ring shows exactly how long to hold. A timing bar above the keys makes the rhythm easy to read. Every song has an auto-rated difficulty (easy, medium, or hard) and saves your best score. PRACTICE AT YOUR PACE Slow any song to 3/4 or half speed while you learn it, then push to 1.5x or 2x when you've mastered it. Restart instantly, track your accuracy, and watch your progress bar as you play. THREE KEYBOARD SIZES Full 16-key board with sharps for real melodies, a simple 8-key octave, or a big 4-key mode that's perfect for young kids in portrait. FREE PLAY Just want to play? Open the full keyboard with real-time synthesized piano sound and multi-touch. IMPORT YOUR OWN MIDI Load .mid files, and the app turns them into playable falling-note charts, automatically fitted to your keyboard. PLAYS ON MAC TOO On Apple Silicon Macs, play with your computer keyboard—white keys along the home row, sharps on the top row—and remap any key however you like.
