Crosshade is a nonogram — a picture hidden behind numbers. The numbers in the margin tell you how many cells in each line are inked, and in what runs. Solve every line and a picture appears. No guessing is ever required: each board has exactly one answer, and every one can be reasoned out. MAKE A PUZZLE FROM YOUR OWN PHOTOS Point Crosshade at any picture in your library. It reduces the image to a grid, decides which cells are ink, and then actually checks the result — if the clues would allow more than one answer, it says so and steps down to a size that works. DRAW YOUR OWN The editor checks your drawing after every stroke and tells you whether it is playable yet. Share a finished puzzle as a code or a QR image; codes carry a checksum, so a mistyped one is refused rather than opened as the wrong picture. DAILY AND WEEKLY A new board every day, the same one for everyone, generated on your device so it works with no signal. Four quarters a week assemble into a single larger picture.
