Ever since the Great Flood swallowed the continents and stole the sky from us, there ain’t no borders left, and not a single inch of dry land. Thousands of meters down in the Dark Ocean, built on silt and pitch-black emptiness, this massive pressure corridor is humanity’s last rusty nail driven into the sea floor. The cities of the old world and their fake rules are long gone, fish food now. The wreckage of civilization is being reshaped right here, behind reinforced glass and leaking steel walls, under the soul-crushing weight of the deep. You won’t find this place on any map; 'cause there’s no sky left to live under, and no land left to mark. And I was born inside this pressurized cage. My birth happened between the ocean’s roar and the groan of grinding metal. My mother handed me over to this damp darkness and took her last breath. My old man ran 'Nocturno del Delito' on the lowest level, looking out into the void of the deep. Last week, some 'clueless' punk who thought rules didn’t apply to him put a bullet in him, tearing through the ocean’s silence. The guy who shot him didn't last long. The 'Frosts' chained him up and tossed him out the pressure chamber into the freezing dark. I watched through the glass as the weight of the ocean crushed his lungs and he sank into the abyss. My father was the only honest man in this swamp; even the Frosts respected his quiet authority. Now, the keys to this rusty coffin are in my hands. I don’t want 'em. Every morning, seeing those dull, man-made lights hit the glass, I just wanna run. But this is Crimshadovia; you either stand behind the bar and make a living, or you end up a pile of bones at the bottom. But for now... welcome. Get used to the weight of the water and 'Nocturno del Delito,' the deepest hole in Crimshadovia. Because down here, it ain’t just the drinks that settle at the bottom—it’s the secrets too.
