Crescendo is a 2.5D isometric roguelike set in an amphitheatre arena inspired by Ancient Greek theatre. You take the spotlight as a gifted performer surrounded by jealous fellow actors determined to silence you. Their attacks arrive in endless waves, turning the stage into a relentless struggle for survival while the audience watches every dramatic moment unfold. Combat revolves around the storm of emotions within the performer. Switch between comedy and tragedy powers at opportune moments to answer the pressure of each wave, unleash powerful Crescendos and level up more quickly. Choosing when to change emotional states is central to sustaining the performance and surviving against the actors closing in from across the arena. The show continues until the final moment. Fight for the laughs, tears, and attention of the audience while facing an ending that seems inevitable beneath the spotlight. Every wave is another scene in a grand finale and every Crescendo is a chance to make the last performance more glorious and memorable before the curtain falls.
