[This application is dedicated to the Crown Prince's Court] Dawami is a smartphone application designed to track employee attendance and departure using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It uses voice recognition or facial recognition for each employee within a predefined geolocation area mapped within the system. What distinguishes this system from traditional fingerprint scanners? 1. Traditional fingerprint scanners lack voice recognition technology. 2. Traditional fingerprint scanners are impractical in many locations, particularly in highway projects, maintenance facilities, and oil fields. 3. It eliminates employee queues at fingerprint scanners during entry and exit, reducing contact and the spread of infectious diseases. 4. It speeds up the fingerprinting process, as each employee essentially has their own fingerprint scanner. 5. An employee can verify their presence in a specific area outside of work hours, for example, if they have an external work assignment, after providing a justification for their absence. This verification remains pending until the Human Resources department approves or rejects it after reviewing the actual clock-in location and the employee's provided justification through the system. 6. The system sends alerts to employees at random times, requesting them to verify their attendance. This prevents employees from leaving their work locations during working hours. 7. Each employee can view their clock-in activity for any desired period through the same mobile application. 8. If a new company project/branch/site opens, the system can be implemented immediately, eliminating the need for time-consuming processes such as obtaining price quotes for fingerprint devices, securing necessary approvals, issuing purchase orders, installing the devices, and securing the required infrastructure (cables, switches, routers, etc.). 9. In the event that an employee’s mobile phone is malfunctioning, lost, or forgotten, the employee can clock in from any other device or request their direct supervisor to clock them in on their smart device.
