Saving and analysing the recognised text requires an internet connection. Review fairness, clarity, safety and completeness indicators, alongside a 0–100 balance score and an indication of which party the agreement may favour. You can also explore: • A plain-English contract summary • Parties, obligations, money and key dates • An obligations timeline • A money-flow breakdown • The original and formatted contract text EXAMINE POTENTIAL CONCERNS Review specific terms that may deserve closer attention. Concerns are organised with high, medium or low severity labels and include an explanation, relevant wording and an indication of which party may be disadvantaged. UNDERSTAND EACH CLAUSE Counsel groups the agreement by clause type, including areas such as payment, termination, liability, confidentiality and dispute resolution. Plain-English explanations appear with the original wording so you can compare the interpretation with its source. ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR CONTRACT Use the dedicated chat to ask about obligations, clauses or points raised during analysis. Responses are based on the open contract and recent messages in that conversation. Contract chat does not browse the web or access your other contracts. TRANSLATE OR LISTEN Translate the full contract into one of 40 target languages, switch between the translation and original, and return to previously generated translations. When reading is less convenient, generate a spoken overview briefing. Once downloaded, its audio is cached on your device for offline playback. TUNE THE EXPERIENCE Choose focus areas such as employment, freelance work, NDAs, vendor agreements, leases or partnerships during onboarding. Counsel also supports seven interface languages plus light and dark appearance options. An account and internet connection are required for cloud-based analysis, chat, translation and initial audio generation.
