Store description excerpt

Conjugaid drills Korean verb conjugation. It puts a verb and a form on screen — polite present, formal past, -(으)면 — and you produce it. Get it wrong and it names the rule you missed: ㄷ turns into ㄹ before a vowel, so 듣다 is 들어요 and never 듣어요. 208 verbs and adjectives, sixteen forms, every irregular stem Korean has. No account, no sign-up, no network. It works on a plane. WHAT YOU PRACTISE Four speech levels 해체, 해요체, 합니다체 and 한다체 sit on every form as a badge. Picking the wrong level is the mistake textbooks explain and never drill. Sixteen forms Eight core ones: polite present and past, polite negative, formal present and past, casual, plain written, and the -고 connective. Eight advanced ones: -(으)면, -(으)세요, -(으)ㅂ시다, -(으)ㄹ 거예요, -고 있어요, -고 싶어요, -아/어서 and the modifier. Every irregular stem ㅂ, ㄷ, ㅅ, 르 and 러, ㅎ, plus the 으 and ㄹ drops. Narrow a round down to one of them and drill it until it sits. Forms that do not exist are never asked An adjective has no "let us" and no "I want to". The app knows the difference between 동사, 형용사 and the 있다/없다 type, and asks accordingly. CHOOSE OR TYPE Answer by picking one of four options — no Korean keyboard needed — or switch to typing if you have one. In choice mode, one wrong option is always the form a regular stem would have produced. That is the mistake worth learning to spot. WHAT COMES BACK Every wrong answer shows what you wrote, the correct form, and the rule behind it. The round ends with a list of exactly what to look at again, and the next round starts there. WHAT STICKS Every verb and every form has its own state: new, missed, learning, or solid after three correct answers in a row. A bar per verb in the list, a mark per form on its page — so you can see what is left instead of guessing. THE VERB LIST A searchable table of all 208 verbs with every form, part of speech, TOPIK level and stem type — the reference you reach for mid-sentence, not mid-lesson. Search in Korean or in your own language. NINE LANGUAGES English, German, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Indonesian, Thai and Malay. Every verb meaning and every rule is written in all nine, not machine-swapped at runtime. WHAT IS FREE TOPIK I with 144 verbs and the eight core forms — no time limit, no ads, no account. One purchase adds the 64 TOPIK II verbs and the eight advanced forms. One time, not a subscription. PRIVACY Nothing leaves the device. No account, no analytics, no tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own; the only connection is Apple's purchase check. The conjugation tables are generated from explicit rules and cross-checked against KoParadigm (Apache 2.0).
