The Orange Point Community is an innovative project dedicated to developing a mobile application that aims to provide safe support for girls, teenagers, and women experiencing gender-based violence. This initiative, promoted by the Morelia City Council, is part of an awareness campaign aimed at encouraging more organizations to join this worthy cause. The application will allow users to locate the nearest Orange Points, request help, and receive push notifications. It will also feature an "I'm Here" button to request assistance from the Morelia Women's Secretariat for Substantive Equality. The goal is to offer an accessible tool that empowers women in Morelia in their daily lives, facilitating the identification of and access to safe spaces. With this application, it is hoped that the response and collaboration of the agencies involved in protection against gender-based violence will improve.
