Store description excerpt
Most camera apps hand you a grid. Compo tells you what to do with it. Pick a shot recipe (Golden Hour Backlight, Room to Look, 45° Diner's View) and Compo draws its composition straight onto the live viewfinder: where the subject sits, where the eye travels, and what angle to shoot from. A live angle badge counts your tilt as you move, and turns green the moment you hit the angle the shot was built for. WHAT YOU GET • 32 shot recipes across portrait, food, product, landscape and architecture • Placement guides drawn on the live frame: drag a handle to fit them to your actual subject • Live angle guidance from the gyroscope, with a haptic tap at the target • A four-step checklist on every recipe: light, angle, zoom, placement • The reason each shot works, with a diagram and a finished photograph • Simulated aperture, applied to the photo you saved, not a preview trick • Live Photo capture • An album of what you shot, each frame captioned with the recipe you framed it with YOUR PHOTO IS A PHOTO The overlay is interface, not artwork. Nothing is ever burned into the file: what lands in your library is a full-resolution photograph with the guides gone. FREE TO START Eight recipes, the whole camera, the guides, the angle feedback and the checklists are free, forever. Compo Vol. 1 unlocks the remaining 24 recipes across every category as a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Vol. 1 stays unlocked on every device signed in to the same Apple ID. PRIVACY Your camera frames, your photos and your motion readings stay on your device. Compo has no account, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no cross-app tracking. When you open the album, it looks up only the photos it saved itself. Requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Camera access is asked for when you first frame a shot, not at launch, so you can browse every recipe before granting anything.
