FUNCTION AND AUDIENCE Voluntold is the volunteer app for the Columbus Adult Education Center (CAEC), a nonprofit in Salt Lake City, Utah teaching English and literacy to refugees and immigrants. Volunteers teach across several campuses. Attendance was kept on paper and hours emailed, so records arrived late or were lost and curriculum notes were not passed between volunteers sharing a class. The app records attendance and hours as they happen and shows what the previous volunteer covered. It is an internal tool for an existing volunteer programme, not a consumer product. 4. ACCESS AND CREDENTIALS THE APP HAS NO ACCOUNT REGISTRATION. Volunteers are screened via the organisation's website and a coordinator creates the account. There is no sign-up screen. This is deliberate: the app exposes student attendance records and personal data, so accounts go only to screened volunteers. Deletion is by written request per section 11.1 of our privacy policy at volunteer.columbusaec.org/privacy-policy/. As the app does not support account creation, in-app deletion is not applicable under 5.1.1(v). Demo account info provided in the form Features: Log Hours, Check In, Community Resources and Submit Ticket on the home screen; Roll Call, Curriculum and Notes under Classes; AI Assistant via the chat icon, top right. No sample files needed. 5. EXTERNAL SERVICES Anthropic PBC — assistant and resource translation, under a commercial agreement prohibiting training on the data. Twilio — SMS/WhatsApp to opted-in recipients (5:15). Google Drive API — teaching files in CAEC's own Drive account. Apple Speech Recognition (OS) — optional voice input; no audio is recorded, transmitted or stored. CAEC's own WordPress server on Cloudways — auth and programme data. No payment processors, advertising, analytics SDKs or third-party authentication. No data is collected for tracking. 6. REGIONAL DIFFERENCES None — the app is free and functions identically everywhere. The resource directory lists Salt Lake County services because that is where CAEC operates: programme content, not a regional restriction,
