Colori is a color discrimination game that turns your phone into a precision color-vision instrument. Each round you see a mosaic of colored tiles. Most share the same hue — but a few are slightly different. Your task: find and tap every tile that doesn't match before time runs out. The differences start large and shrink as the game progresses. By the final rounds, only truly fine color vision can catch the smallest shifts. HOW IT WORKS Colori runs 35 rounds, each centered on a different match color drawn from across the full range of human color experience. The large tile layout is demanding — there's less edge contrast to guide you, so you have to rely on pure color judgment. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN After the game, Colori tells you which color axis you were sharpest on: red–green, blue–yellow, or light–dark. Most people have a strength they didn't know about — and a gap. SCIENCE INSIDE Colori is a research tool from the Department of Experimental Psychology, Justus Liebig University Giessen. With your consent, anonymous gameplay data is shared to help map how color discrimination varies across people and devices. No personal data is collected. You can opt in or out at any time.
