ColdFront puts live aviation weather on a 3D satellite map. Pan anywhere in the world and every reporting airport appears as a pin showing its current conditions; temperature, wind, or sky at a glance. Tap a pin for the full picture: temperature and dew point, humidity, wind direction and speed, visibility, cloud layers with their heights, present weather, pressure, and the flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR) colour-coded so you can read the field at a glance. The raw METAR is there too, for when you'd rather read it yourself. Features • A realistic satellite globe with live observations from thousands of reporting stations • Switch pins between conditions, temperature and wind • Star up to 30 airports and keep them on a quick-access bar at the bottom of the map • Browse the previous 24 hours of observations at every airport • Search by ICAO code or airport name across the world's airports • Jump to your location to see the fields nearest you • Fully decoded METARs in plain language, with the raw report available All observations come from NOAA.
