Store description excerpt
By US coin dealers. For everyone. Your AI Coin Dealer CoinAILyzer is built by professional US coin dealers, for collectors of every level. The goal is simple: accurate identification and honest, no-hype grading advice in seconds. Our AI is trained on dealer-verified, professionally graded coins — and it tells you plainly how confident it is. WHAT A SCAN GIVES YOU (photograph your coin) - Identification: series, year, and mint mark for US coins - AI grade estimate on supported series, with a "worth grading" recommendation, a confidence score, and a heat map of what the AI looked at - The coin's market price (on paid plans) - AI chat about that coin's value, history, and grading Grading covers 15 US series (Morgans, Wheat and Memorial cents, Buffalo nickels, and more), with new series added only once they clear our accuracy bar. Coins outside supported series still get identification and pricing. THE PRICE GUIDE (look up any US coin) Separate from scanning: a searchable, dealer-standard reference (the Greysheet CPG price guide) to check values by series, year, and mint mark — even for coins you don't own. Included with any paid plan. Expert adds die varieties and VAMs, plus classic commemoratives, as browsable guide entries. These are look-up entries in the guide. A scan identifies and grades the coin in your hand — it does not attribute VAMs or die varieties from a photo. HOW ACCURATE IS IT? (on dealer reference images) These figures come from our internal test set of dealer-verified coins photographed under good conditions — a benchmark on clean reference images, not a guarantee for any specific coin or phone photo: - ~99% year identification - ~98% mint-mark detection - ~96% on "worth grading" decisions Your results will vary. Accuracy depends on your photo (focus, lighting, glare) and the coin — worn, toned, or dimly lit coins are harder. When the AI isn't sure, it says so instead of guessing. HONEST, CONSERVATIVE ADVICE The model is intentionally cautious: if we're not confident a coin will grade MS-60 or better, we'll tell you to save your money. A photo estimate is a helpful screen, not a substitute for a professional grader's in-hand opinion — and it's only as good as your photo, so the app walks you through getting a usable shot. HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph both sides of your coin 2. The AI identifies year, mint mark, denomination, and (on supported series) an estimated grade 3. Get a "worth grading" recommendation with a confidence score 4. Ask questions about value, history, or grading standards 5. Decide before spending $30–50 on a submission ASK THE EXPERTS Answers draw on CoinHelpU's video library (2,000+ videos, one of YouTube's largest coin channels), with links to the relevant clips. FOR EVERYONE New collectors and families, coin roll hunters, estate-sale buyers, serious collectors building graded sets, and dealers screening inventory — anyone who'd rather not guess before paying to grade.
