Cognition Athletic Network is the roster construction command center for college basketball general managers, coaches and athletics staff. It turns the data a program already holds into decisions a GM can defend: who to keep, who to recruit, what a package should look like, and where the next opponent is beatable. WHAT IT DOES Command Center. A season projection with the arithmetic behind it. Projected record, power score, conference finish and tournament outlook, each broken into the pillars that drive it, with the limiting factor named rather than left for you to infer. Roster. Projected starters and rotation, lineup quality across eight dimensions, and a what-if editor that re-scores the five as you swap players. Compare up to three plans of signings and departures side by side before committing to one. Matchup Prep. The next opponent slot by slot, with per-dimension advantages and exposures and the arithmetic for each. Change either starting five to test a scenario. Recruiting. High school, transfer portal, junior college and international pools, scored for fit against what this roster actually needs rather than against a generic ranking. Retention. A flight-risk board with the driver behind every score, so a conversation can happen before a player enters the portal. Budget and NIL. Two separate ledgers that are never combined: school-paid revenue share, which sits under the House settlement cap, and third-party NIL, which has no cap. Deals at or above the reporting threshold are flagged for NIL Go review. Donor Relations and Agents. A fundraising pipeline with gifts, pledges and follow-ups, and a directory of who represents each player and how to reach them. Reports. Board-ready briefings generated from the live model, not from a template. HOW IT TREATS DATA Every number says where it came from. Modeled projections are labeled as modeled. A fact about a player comes from a named source or from a staff member's own recorded entry, and anything that has not been recorded says so rather than being filled in with a guess. Modeled valuations are advisory ranges, not prices. This is analytics for people who have to justify a decision to a compliance office and a board, not a pricing tool. Preparation, not prediction. There are no win probabilities, point spreads or projected scores anywhere in the app. Every entry that changes a record is attributed to the account that made it and written to an activity log, and a program's own entries are visible only to that program. ACCESS Cognition Athletic Network is licensed to athletic departments and collectives. Accounts are provisioned by your organization and the app does not offer public sign-up. Account, role and program administration is handled in the web portal. Includes data provided by Sportradar.
