Co-checkx is for ophthalmology (MD) and optometry (OD) practices that co-manage cataract and refractive care. Charge a patient once. Each provider on the invoice is paid separately into their own payout account. Co-checkx does not hold procedure funds and is not a bank or a medical provider. MD practices can: • Create an invoice with the surgeon fee and the co-managing OD fee • Assign post-op to another OD when needed • Collect at the desk or send a pay link • See unpaid and paid invoices, partners, and an inbox OD practices can: • Create a co-management invoice for a partner MD • Track unpaid and paid amounts • Manage MD partners Create the practice account on the website. The iPhone app is for signed-in staff after that. There is no monthly subscription. Co-checkx charges a platform fee on amounts collected through the service, plus card-network fees. Patient checkout uses card and wallets (including Apple Pay on the pay page). Co-checkx does not provide medical advice or clinical decisions. Practices remain responsible for care, HIPAA, and billing rules.
